Really I need to go see each of the devices in person, but it's a pain because the only place I can find the Aura in stock is Best Buy, and the Glo is only at a local bookseller's, so I can't hold them side by side.Enhanced eReadingKobo Aura HD is the only premium eReader on the market. I would like to be able to read in the dark without bothering someone sleeping next to me. I think I like the Aura's light better because it's more yellowy rather than blue, and I've heard some people have issues getting the Glo to be dim enough. I know most people recommend tablets for heavy manga reading. cbr/.cbz better, although this isn't a deciding issue for me. I primarily read epub books but occasionally read some comics or manga (on the computer, not on my Sony), so it'd be nice to know which of these handles. I'll probably get a case for my new e-reader and try to be more gentle with it, but I am a klutz and it will inevitably get dropped sometime. The last thing I want is something like the original frontlit Nook that got "light holes" super easily. But I haven't read much about the durability of either the Aura or the Glo. I'm concerned that the Aura might be a lot less durable because there's no screen bezel. I throw it in my purse and never use a case, I have dropped it several times and not even a scratch. Honestly I'll probably be happy with either one, upgrading from such an old device, but here are my main criteria: I've narrowed it down to the Kobo Glo and the Kobo Aura, but I can't decide between them. But now that I know I like ebooks, I'm thinking about upgrading. I've been doing so much more reading ever since. I discovered the world of e-readers last summer when I bought a used Sony PRS-300 on Ebay for $10 and fell in love.
